Project 6: October 23 - 28, 2015

Zahra brought Zuba from Bahariya Oasis to Cairo to introduce her what is possible to show her what other groups are doing in order to help her understand the importance of quality and the need for good systems of production. Indigo then took Zuba, Soad, and a small group of older girls from Banati Center for Girls to the Association for the Protection of the Environment (APE) within the Zabeleen community. The goal was to show them what is possible. We were fortunate in that the director for APE was there that day. Good connections were made for Zuba and Banati.

Indigo and Soad also spent time looking to possible Egyptian fair trade store where the items made can be sold. Quest travels make their first purchase of water bottle holders for their tours.
