Bridging the service work from the Zahra Foundation with an Egyptian Mysteries tour, we spent nine nights on a dajabeya (a boat) on the Nile, where many on the tour group were eager to learn to work with plarn.

After a morning sail upriver, our tour group stopped at Bassaw village near Edfu, where we offered an impromptu demonstration on how to cut the bags and crochet. I left some scissors and hooks as a gift and made an agreement to return to teach them more.
